TLL Collective Return, Refund & Warranty Policy

All Sales Are Final

TLL Collective / The Lifestyle Lab offers custom, special-order, made-to-order, and specially sourced products and materials from manufacturers and suppliers throughout the United States and around the world.

Because products are ordered or sourced specifically for each customer, all sales are final once an order has been submitted to the manufacturer or supplier. Orders cannot be canceled, returned, exchanged, or refunded.

This policy applies to all products, including tile, natural stone, marble, porcelain, hardwood flooring, cabinetry, rugs, furnishings, fixtures, hardware, and other specially sourced materials.

Natural & Product Variations

Natural, handcrafted, and manufactured materials may have variations in color, shade, veining, grain, texture, pattern, size, or finish. These characteristics are part of the unique nature of the material and are not considered defects unless determined otherwise by the manufacturer.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all product selections, quantities, dimensions, colors, finishes, and specifications before ordering.

Delivery Inspection & Damage Claims

Customers must inspect all merchandise immediately upon delivery. Any visible damage should be noted on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing whenever possible.

If merchandise arrives damaged or appears defective, notify TLL Collective immediately and email clear photographs of the product, packaging, shipping labels, and damage to:

Include your name, order number, delivery date, and a brief description of the issue.

Manufacturer Warranty

TLL Collective is a retailer and sourcing partner and does not manufacture the products it sells. All warranty, defect, and product-damage claims are subject to the applicable manufacturer's or supplier's warranty, claim procedures, terms, and approval.

The manufacturer or supplier has sole discretion to determine whether a product qualifies for warranty coverage and whether a repair, replacement, credit, or other remedy will be provided.

TLL Collective will reasonably assist customers in submitting an eligible claim and communicating with the manufacturer or supplier. However, TLL Collective does not make warranty determinations and cannot guarantee approval, replacement, repair, credit, refund, or the timing of any resolution.

Any approved remedy will be provided according to the manufacturer's or supplier's applicable policies.

Shipping & Delivery

Manufacturing, freight, carrier, weather, supply-chain, and other circumstances outside TLL Collective's control may affect estimated delivery dates. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

TLL Collective is not responsible for delays or resulting project costs, labor costs, installation delays, storage charges, lost use, or other expenses resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Risk of loss or damage after delivery is accepted transfers to the purchaser, subject to any rights available under the applicable carrier or manufacturer's claims process.

Final Sale Acknowledgment

By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges that the products are custom, special-order, made-to-order, and/or specially sourced and are final sale and non-returnable.

A damaged or defective product does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund. Any warranty or product claim will be handled according to the applicable manufacturer's or supplier's policies and determination.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Exceptional materials. Sourced globally. Curated for extraordinary interiors.

I particularly like the sentence “A damaged or defective product does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.” It makes the distinction between a return and a manufacturer warranty claim very easy for a customer to understand.

One legal point: because this is intended as a customer-facing contract/policy, I would have your Arizona business attorney review the final version before publishing it. Your existing agreement also contains binding arbitration language, which is separate from this return policy and should be coordinated with your broader Terms & Conditions rather than casually copied into the Shopify refund policy.
